My Story

2008

San Diego, CA
 

I chose to major in Economics at

UCSD because I was attracted to

predicting and understanding

behavior between people

and systems.

2012

BANGKOK, Thailand

While teaching at a

Royal Charter School, 

I saw the potential for technology

to improve education outcomes

if designed with the cultural

backgrounds and psychological

motivations of students in mind.

2014

San FranCisco, CA

I began work as a Business Analyst at

the Federal Reserve. My team

developed a series of powerful

web tools and visualizations

intended to disseminate

complex financial information

to the public.

2018

Pittsburgh, PA

I completed my master’s of

Human - Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.

Some exciting projects I worked on include: improving the design

of sewing machines to accommodate blind workers, and designing

a series of mini-games to

improve healthcare decisions.

2010

Delhi, India
 

While studying abroad at the University of Delhi, I was inspired by observing technology radically improving the lives of more than one billion people.
 

2013

Southeast Asia

I backpacked Southeast Asia for 6 months. I got SCUBA certified, did a 42-km trek in Myanmar, and ate

lots of rice.

2016

San Francisco, CA
 

I pursued a position on the Federal Reserve’s only dedicated UX Design team. There I conducted user research to inform the design of data dashboards, educational apps and economic podcasts. I led a workshop on Accessibility for people in departments across the system.
